Synergy Europe Packs Crisis Kits For Ukraine

A group of Synergy team members from Western Europe recently visited and toured Nature’s Sunshine corporate headquarters in Lehi, Utah. During their visit, the group dedicated time to give back with the Impact Foundation.

“We are beyond grateful for the opportunity to do a hands-on service project together with the Impact Foundation, Synergy European Team Members and corporate staff in Lehi HQ,” said Alida Husby, Synergy’s European Marketing Communication Manager.

By partnering with Lifting Hands International, the Impact Foundation was able to create a service opportunity that allowed guests from Western Europe to make an impact in their communities even when far from home.

Together, the leaders packed 150 essential kits for refugees displaced by the crisis in Ukraine. 100 of the kits included emergency essentials like a backpack, lanterns, extra batteries, work gloves, ponchos, and a thermos. 50 of the kits that were prepared were specifically for children and included essentials like jackets, shoes, socks, and underwear.

“Giving back and helping others is an integral part of our business, which makes projects like this even more special. Each backpack assembled will make a difference in someone’s life,” Husby said.

Lifting Hands International is dedicated to serving refugees from a wide range of locations and cultures. Since February, Lifting Hands International estimated that more than 1.7 million Ukrainians fled their home country as refugees within just the first two weeks of the invasion.
