Nature’s Sunshine Canada and the Impact Foundation, continue their ongoing partnership with Canadian Feed the Children, a Canadian based charity dedicated to feeding and nourishing women and children around the world through community programs such as their school meal program, school and community gardens, food forests and supporting women in the agricultural workforce.
In 2023, Nature’s Sunshine Canada has chosen Canadian Feed the Children as their exclusive charity of choice for the region and looks forward to helping serve women and children at risk of malnutrition and food-insecurity.
Since the partnership began in 2022, Nature’s Sunshine Canada and the Impact Foundation, have donated over $3,800 CAD to Canadian Feed the Children to help children facing food-insecurity. This has helped provide over 1,270 meals for children at-risk of malnutrition. Our partner, Canadian Feed the Children, helps distribute meals and resources to 31 indigenous tribes across Canada as well as in communities at-risk of malnourishment in countries like Ghana, Uganda, Bolivia and Ethiopia.
For over 35 years, Canadian Feed The Children has worked to increase access to education and food security to help build resilience for children and their families. Many of their programs help support food-insecure populations by implementing community gardening programs to provide access to nutritious food for those who might otherwise go without.
